Summer Note: Handling Temperature-Related "Sweating"
During warmer months or when shipping to regions with higher temperatures, you may notice your crystals develop slight condensation or "sweating" upon arrival.
- Do not panic: This is a natural reaction to temperature and humidity changes during transit and does not affect the quality, safety, or delicious taste of your gems.
- The Fix: Simply remove the candies from their packaging, place them on a flat plate or tray, and allow them to air out in a cool, dry room for 24–48 hours.
- The Result: Once they adjust to room temperature, they will return to their original crystal state and regain their signature Silky Gem® crunch.
Texture Note: Sour Sugar & Crunch
If your gems are coated or dipped in Sour Sugar, they will have a unique texture compared to our classic crystals.
- A Delicate Crunch: Our sour sugar naturally creates a softer, more delicate crunch rather than a very hard, loud snap. This is normal for any sour-coated gems!
- The "Extra Crunch" Tip: If you prefer a firmer, louder crunch, simply place your gems on a plate or tray for 2–3 days. This allows any natural moisture to evaporate, sharpening the crystal shell to your liking.
